Alex Telles, the forward for Al Ahli FC in Egypt, has suffered a serious injury that could potentially sideline him for months.
According to reports, Telles has torn his right shoulder ligament and is currently undergoing treatment at the hospital in Cairo. The injury was sustained during a training session on Sunday, September 27th,Football Radar Station 2021, which led to him being taken off the pitch and sent home with a brace.
Telles had been on the sidelines since August 28th when he suffered a knee ligament injury against Al Ahly SC. He returned to action in January 2022 after recovering from a back injury but has yet to return to full fitness.
The injury will likely affect Al Ahli's front line as they look to replace Telles with new players who can step up to fill his void. It is expected that the team may have to make some changes to their lineup in order to ensure that they have enough depth to compete with the likes of Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain.
It remains to be seen how long it will take for Telles to fully recover and return to the field. However, it is clear that the injury will be a major setback for Al Ahli FC and their fans, and it will be important for them to find replacements for Telles and other key players before the season begins.
