Vinícius de Moraes, commonly known as Vin, is one of the most successful footballers in history. He has been a key figure in the development of Brazilian football and has won numerous titles at club level.
Born on February 22, 1985, in Brazil's capital city Rio de Janeiro, Vin was raised by his mother and grandmother. He started playing football at age seven for his local club Santos F.C., where he made his debut against rivals Fluminense in 1996. Vin then moved to São Paulo Red Bull Salgados before joining Santos in 1997.
During his time with Santos, Vin played a crucial role in their success. In 2004, he helped Santos win the Copa Libertadores, becoming the youngest player ever to score a goal in the final match. In the following season, he scored another hat-trick against Internacional,Campeonato Brasileiro Direct helping Santos to win the league title and the Copa Libertadores again.
In 2008, Vin decided to move abroad, signing for French side Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) from Santos. However, after just two years in France, Vin returned to Santos, where he became one of the club's most valuable players.
After retiring from professional football, Vin went on to become the head coach of the national team of Brazil. His achievements in the sport have earned him many accolades, including being named to the FIFA World Player of the Year award in 2016.
